Fibre Optic Cables now being laid for Huntsville, bringing the fastest internet access anywhere!

You might have noticed that machines are installing fibre optic cables in the urban core as well as rural Huntsville. This initiative is being implemented by Lakeland Networks, a division of Lakeland Power, and will offer fibre optic internet service up to 4,000 times faster than what is available today. For rural customers the cost for internet and phone service will be in the $90 per month range and approximately $70 per month in town. This service is being promoted heavily by Huntsville's Economic Development Committee.
