Friday September 8

Music and Mingle Cruise for Hospice Muskoka, 4 – 6 pm. Sunset Cruises, Captain Randy Potts and Debbie Eccles are hosting the second annual cruise. Depart aboard the Peerless II from the Rosseau side in Port Carling and enjoy the music of Patty McLaughlin and Ginny Clements. Enjoy light refreshments and a cash bar. Severn Bridge Fall Fair, 9 am – 11:59 pm.  Come and enjoy the fun for all ages! Mid-way between Gravenhurst and Orillia, Severn Bridge Fairgrounds is easy to find, just follow the Southwood Road from the nearby Hwy 11 exit.

Huntsville's 100k Farm, Fresh & Homemade Market, 9 am to 1 pm on West St. S. beside Pharmasave. A 100k market is a market where all vendors grow, produce or create their goods within 100 kilometers of the market. Eat local and fresh!

Muskoka Fall Classic Regatta, Rotary Gull Lake Park, Gravenhurst. The Severn River Rowing Club is proud to host clubs from Ontario and beyond to the fifth Annual Muskoka Fall Classic, a 3 km head race event.  Gull Lake Rotary Park is an ideal venue in a picturesque setting. Event has grown each year. 2015 saw 257 participants with 90 single scull entries. Race results will be posted and winners receive the coveted ‘Golden Honey Jar’ award! Armchair Travel Series at Bracebridge Public Library, 94 Manitoba Street. Destination: The Chilkoot Pass. Guest speaker Judi Brouse will present a travelogue on hiking the Chilkoot Pass. Enjoy beautiful scenery and adventure from the comfort of the Library. Free event. Refreshments served.

Sunday September 10

The Minettones and The Grandsons of the Pioneers in concert on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Peninsula Recreation Centre in Minett. Donations gratefully received. If you are unable to this performance, mark your calendar for Sunday, Sept. 17 when they will be performing at 2 p.m. at The Milford Bay Community Centre.
