For The Love of Broadway 3

When:  8:00 pm

Where:  Studio Theatre at Chaffey Hall, 24 Chaffey Township Road

What:  The incredible talents of 16 of The Huntsville Theatre Company's members have produced a medley of songs from some of Broadway's most popular musicals PLUS a second ACT dedicated to some of Andrew Lloyd Webber Favourites.  Tickets are $20 and available for sale on-line www.hutsvilletheatre.org

 

Hunters Bay Radio Concert

When:  8:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Where:  Rivermill Park

What:  Enjoy performances from Mitch's Brew, Gina Horswood and Tamica Herod, Ol' Stampy's Saloon and Juan Barbosa Band while welcoming IRONMAN athletes to Muskoka.  Free Admission.

Summer Memories Scrapbooking

When:  10:30 am to 11:30 am

Where:  Dwight Public Library

What:  Have kids gather their favourite pictures and other summer mementos to put together their very own scrapbook.  Ages 7 and up. Under 7 welcome with an adult. 

Muskoka Concert Band Play Along Picnic

When:  11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Where:  Utterson Community Hall

What:  Come out and enjoy the Muskoka Concert Band for their Play Along Picnic at Utterson Community Hall.

Santa's Whispering Pines Campground Ice Cream Social Parade

When:  7:00 pm

Where:  Santa's Whispering Pines Campground in the Activity Field

What:  Bring your decorated bike for our parade, join in on the #MyBiggestBubble challenge, enjoy a classic ice cream cone and play some 1920's inspired games.  Campground reservations required.

Tyler Morrison's Back Roads Comedy Tour

When:  8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Where:  Port Sydney Community Hall

What:  The Port Sydney Utterson and Area Chamber presents Tyler Morrison's Back Roads Comedy Tour at the Port Sydney Community Hall.  Cash bar and pizza will be available.  Tickets are $20 each.  Contact the Chamber at 705-385-1117.  Doors open at 7:00 pm.

 

The FabFour

When:  8:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Where:  Algonquin Theatre

What:  The FabFour are an entertaining musical and historical re-enactment of the life of one of pop-rock music's more revered and influential bands - The Beatles!  $35 including all taxes

 

Sunday, August 30th

IRONMAN Muskoka RACE DAY

When:  6:45-noon

Where:  Various locations

What:  The 2.4 mile, one loop swim takes place in picturesque Peninsula Lake.  The 112 mile bike course circles Lake of Bays, passing through the small communities of Dwight, Dorset and Baysville.  The 26.2 mile run will take you through Muskoka Country, downtown Huntsville, past pink granite rock and cascading waterfalls.

Memorial Forest Information Day

When:  1:00 pm 3:00 pm

What:  In a place born of love, and a place dedicated to memories, Muskoka conservancy now invites you to plant a Memorial Tree at the Dyer Memorial Nature Reserve.  The price for a Memorial Tree is $350.  Call 705-645-7393 xt 200
