Pride Week Kick-Off BBQ

When?  4:00-6:30 pm Friday, July 17th

Where?  River Mill Park-Downtown Huntsville

What?  Muskoka Pride invites you to the Muskoka Pride Festival Kick-Off BBQ.  Join in for some FREE food, music, activities, and fun in the park.  Stick around after because Huntsville's Midnight Madness begins at 5:00 pm downtown!!

 

Midnight Madness

When?  5:00 pm-midnight Friday, July 17th

Where?  Downtown Huntsville

What?  The Downtown Huntsville Midnight Madness will take place on Friday, July 17th, 2015 in Downtown Huntsville.  The Main Street of Huntsville will be closed to traffic, allowing shops to move their merchandise out to the streets.  There will also be live entertainment, food and fun for the whole family until Midnight!!  For more information please visit www.DowntownHuntsvilleAdventures.com or contact the Downtown Huntsville BIA at 705-789-1400.

 

Summer Sizzles

When?  5:30 pm - midnight on Friday, July 17th

Where?  Royal Canadian Legion, Huntsville

What?  Come out and enjoy a delicious Chipperfield fish and chip dinner, and after, dance up a storm to live music upstairs by the Harpo Willy Band.  Fish and Chip Dinner:  $9.50 5:30 - 7:30 pm Dance upstairs with finger food available $10 8:30-midnight

Huntsville Horticultural Society Garden Tour

When?  9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th

Where?  Various Locations

What?  Self-Guided Tour of 6 gardens.  Maps available at Treasures and Trophies and Sandhill Nursery.  $10 per person (includes a $10 coupon for Sandhill Nursery)

 

Create Your Own Fairy Garden

When?  10:00 am Saturday, July 18th

Where?  Dwight Garden Centre

What?  Create your own fairy garden with Linda Boothby at the Dwight Garden Centre.  $25 includes base kit of container, soil, pebbles, 2 plants and one accessory.  Additional accessories will be available to purchase.

 

The Good Lovelies

When?  8:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th

Where?  The Algonquin Theatre

What?  Recognized with a Juno and multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, this trio relies on unerring three part harmonies, solid musicianship, clever songs and onstage convulsively funny repartee.  Tickets are $32 for adults, $29 for seniors and $20 for youth.  Call the box office at 705-789-4975.

Swim for Hospice

When:  noon on Sunday, July 19th

Where?  River Mill Park, Huntsville

What?  Charity swim to raise funds and awareness for Hospice Huntsville.  Come and support the swimmers as they exit the water at approximately noon at River Mill Park.

 

Cemetery Decoration Day

When?  1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 19th

Where?  Town of Huntsville Cemeteries

What?  The town invites friends and family to  visit and pay respects to loves ones and enjoy the fellowship of neighbours at the Town of Huntsville Cemeteries.

 

Jazz in the Garden

When?  1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 19th

Where?  Spencer's Tall Trees Restaurant

What?  Smooth jazz fills the air, bring your own lawn chair and sit amongst the gardens.  Tempt your tastebuds with light snacks and refreshing drinks. Tickets are $20.  Call 705-789-4975 for information.

 

Fathead - Live Blues Etwell Concert Series

When?  3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 19th

Where?  2012 Etwell Road, Huntsville

What?  Fathead performs live as part of the Etwell Live Blues Concert Series.  Tickets are by suggestion donation $20 per person.
