46th Annual Dwight Winter Carnival

Irwin Memorial Public School & Dwight Winter Carnival are sponsoring Rocks & Rings for all Irwin Students. Kids will all have a chance to learn how to curl and sweep till their hearts content in the gym. Irwin Students will also have a exclusive first tour of the Hydro One Electricity Centre.

5:30-7pm Kids Kapers starts at the Dwight Community Centre. Play ten carnival games, win carnival lucky bucks and buy prizes of your choice. Everyone is a winner and is free with a carnival button. Free face painting too. General age range of under ten

7-9pm Family Skate, Bonfire, Hockey Slap Shot Contest, Goodies, Music and fun for all. Dwight outdoor rink with heated change room. Sponsored By HOLD Community Group

Kearney Dog Sled Races

Ontario's largest dog sled races come to "Ontario's biggest little town" on the 2nd weekend in February each year. Join us for two days of winter fun just a couple of hours north of Toronto, in Kearney Ontario on the western boarder of Algonquin Park.

Ontario Parks and The Friends of Algonquin Park are proud to announce Winter in the Wild Festival happening in Algonquin Park on February 13, 2016 (Family Day Weekend). This family event celebrates Algonquin Park in winter.

Arrowhead Provincial Park Fire and Ice Night

Fire & Ice Nights are scheduled for January 16th, January 30th, February 13th, February 14th, and February 27th. On these select days, the Ice Skating Trail will be open from 11am - 3pm, and from 6pm - 9pm.

Two Rooms Live features an amazing band fronted by vocalists Wendy Irvine, Mark Christiano and Jennie Laws, backed by musicians Davor Jordanovski, (piano/ keyboards), Craig Titus (piano /keyboards / vocals) Curtis Freeman (bass/vocals), Dave Patel (drums), Mike Freedman (guitars), Eddie Patton (guitars) Julian Troiano (vocals /keys) and Ginela Gonzalez (vocals).

Boston Pizza Sponsored Family Skate-Canada Summit Centre 11am - 12:30 pm

A supervised leisure skate for youth, adults, seniors, and families. Youth 7 years and younger must be accompanied on the ice, by an adult. All participants are encouraged to wear a helmet, youth 12 years and younger must wear a CSA approved helmet. The use of hockey sticks is not permitted. Tag, chase or reckless behavior as well as food and drinks are not permitted on the ice or players' benches. Skating aids are available, but limited in quantity and are to be used for the sole purpose of assisting youth learning to skate. Children cannot be carried or pushed in a stroller on the ice surface.

Family Day At Camp Mini-Yo-We

Join us on Family Day for a fantastic day full of friendship, family and fun winter activities! In 2016 we will host our 5th annual event where you can try winter activities, introduce friends to Camp and spend the day with those you love the most… FAMILY!

Activities include tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, skating, hockey, and more!
